Okay, so I still have a few problems with the Buffy season finale. SPOILER WARNING, but really, it's been four days.

Still having a problem with every potential slayer having superpowers. The Voice-over said that every girl in the world who could possibly be the Slayer now has her strength. Does that mean there are thousands of girls out there who can twist doorknobs off? Babies who throw their rattles across the house? There must be hundreds, if not thousands of Potential Slayers from infancy to eighteen, which I suspect is the cut-off age because Kennedy has to be at least that or Willow's cradle robbing. Does this mean every time one of them dies another girl inherits the power? I hesitate to say Chosen because before it implied being chosen specially, the only one. Hmph, I don't like it.

Also, I think there's going to some serious reprecussions from the whole bloody town of Sunnydale falling into a crater. For starters, everybody's everything is gone. Yes, I know they're happy they're alive and not taken over by evil, but later won't they find themselves needing Willow and Giles' one of a kind book collection? Or be missing money and a place to live? Or the graves and bodies of their friends? I think I'd need closure if I were Xander. Plus, I think I'd have been more emotional, but hey, that's just me. I'm betting some of the Junior Misses had some things from their families they'd have wanted to keep, what with never seeing them again. If I were Buffy, I'd have wanted Mr. Pointy. Yes, I seem materialistic, but frankly, I think too much and this is what came to mind.

Tonight was the end of seven years of fine(on the most part) television. Tonight was the last episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was... disappointingly average.
*******SPOILER WARNING!!!!!********

It was an average episode aside from the fact that they killed off Anya (sniff), Amanda the Junior Miss, SoonYi(?) the Junior Miss and more. It should have been two hours, for starters. If they can drag the season six opener Bargaining I and II into two hours, the finale Chosen was at least deserving of it. Y'know, I really should have taped it. At least do I could go back and rewatch this funny scene with Millie (oops, I mean Amanda. Damn
TWoP), Andrew, Giles and Xander playing D&D. There's a really funny line I can't remember, but hopefully Ace and Sep willl think it's funny and include it in the recap at Televison Without Pity.

I think that spreading the power of the Slayers like that was.... odd. What does this mean? There are freakishly strong girls running around now? There's no such thing as a Potential or The Slayer? Anyone with the training can now go out an slay, not to mention what girls with no idea of what a Slayer is will be like. Yes, some will use it for good, like the girl who stopped a slap aimed at her, but it could cause a lot more trouble. At least it's another spin-off idea. Buffy and the (remaining) Scoobs travel the world looking for Supergirls to set them on the right path. Hmm, I see lots of girl guest stars. (Me!) Heh.

So, what did you all think?
